Summary: For a century, Combat Stress has been helping former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We provide specialist treatment to veterans from every service and every conflict – including Merchant Navy veterans and members of the UK Reserve Forces. When a veteran asks for our help, we develop a programme of treatment and support to suit their individual needs. We offer the following services across the UK:

  • Short-stay residential programme
  • A specialist PTSD Intensive Treatment Programme
  • One-to-one appointments in the community
  • Psychological, art and occupational therapy
  • Peer Support Service
  • Substance Misuse Case Management Service
