Summary: Care for Veterans (formerly The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home) provides care and rehabilitation for people with physical and neurological disabilities – predominately those from HM Services. The primary aim is to enable residents to live as independently and actively as possible in an environment that they can think of as their home. Long term residential and short term respite care is available.
Note/Restrictions: Care for Veterans is a charity which provides a multi-disciplinary approach to care with a strong focus on rehabilitation. Our specialist capability is with those suffering from an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and those with physical disabilities. We are unfortunately not in a position to accept individuals of an Elderly Mentally Infirm (EMI) nature. Care for Veterans is for ex-Servicemen and women and their dependents, aged 18+, from any region.
